President Ghani to Visit Flood-Affected Families Travels to Parwan

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to visit recent flood-affected families has arrived to Charikar city the provincial capital of central Parwan province this morning.
According to BNA report, Sediq Sediqqi spokesperson for the President tweeted; “President Ghani is in Parwan today to visit the flood affected areas, meet with the people and take stock of the recovery operations and government assistance to the victims.”
Recent flash floods have been killed more than 130 people and wounded over 150 others in Parwan province last week.
More than 4,000 people were badly affected by the floods in Parwan province, State Ministry for Natural Disasters Management reported the other day.
Meanwhile, two persons lost their lives, three wounded and hundreds acres of agricultural lands have been affected due to flood flash in Siagard and Shikh Ali districts, Parwan province last night.
