104 Development Projects Implemented in Laghman, Worth 1.6 Billion AFN

KABUL(BNA): Officials from the Laghman Department of Economy announced that 104 major and minor projects were implemented in the province last year at a cost of 1.6 billion Afghanis.

Mawlawi Jan Mohammad Hamed, head of the Laghman Department of Economy, reported to BNA that these projects were funded by the Islamic Emirate and various organizations. The projects, which cost 1.6 billion Afghanis, provided employment opportunities for 30,000 people.

He also mentioned that for the current year, 2024, there are plans to implement 137 more projects, which will create thousands of job opportunities.

It’s worth mentioning that since the reestablishment of the Islamic Emirate, thousands of major and minor projects have been implemented or are currently in progress across the country. These initiatives have received widespread support from citizens, who are calling for the continuation and expansion of such projects.
