Kabul (BNA) A number of influential figures and tribal elders of Eshkamish district met with the National Security Advisor, Dr. Hamdullah Mohib, his office reported Sunday.
During the meeting held late on Saturday, both sides discussed security challenges and campaign against irresponsible armed men and the people cooperation for security improvement in the district, a statement from the NSA office said. The elders asked the national Security Advisor for addressing security problems in their district, the statement quoted.
Dr. Mohib assured them of efforts for tackling the problems as saying security and defense authorities are aware of the available insecurities in the district. He added that the central government was committed for restoring security and governance at the local level and would prioritize the capability of the local cadres and the elders’ capacities.
