Historical Relics Submitted To National Museum Of Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Some historic relics seized by the country’s security forces in outskirts of Faryab province were submitted yesterday to National Museum of Afghanistan, BNA reported, adding that the man carrying illegally said relics in the province was under further investigation.
Praising national security forces, Minister of Information and Culture, Abdul Bari Jahani, instructed the museum officials for professionally restoration of the seized objects. According to another report, Minister of Information and Culture in a meeting with advisor to president on youth affairs, Shamim Khan Katawazi, and a number of Paktika’s cultural figures discussed cultural situation of the province.
After hearing suggestions and demands made by the cultural figures of Paktika, Minister of Information and culture suggested various recommendations to cultural figures in connection with improvement of cultural condition in the country, in particular Paktika. According another report, Minister of Information and Culture in a conference held yesterday on position of women in Islam and reviewing violence from the prospects of Islam and laws called the countrymen to pay full consideration to maintaining of women’s rights in the country. Minister Jahani considered holding seminars and conferences for public awareness in this regard as significant.
