Kandahar Exports $181 Million Worth of Dried Fruits to the World

KANDAHAR (BNA): Kandahar province, known for its high-quality and flavorful dried fruits, has exported more than 53,000 tons of them to various countries this year.

The export revenue has reached $181 million, according to the deputy head of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment in Kandahar.

The main destinations for Kandahar’s dried fruits are Pakistan, India, China, Dubai, and some European and American countries.

The demand for these products is high in domestic, regional, and global markets, as they offer health benefits and delicious taste.

The orchard owners, factory owners, and traders in Kandahar are happy with the increasing exports of dried fruits, which provide them with income and business opportunities.
