Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani conferred state media on outgoing deputy commander for Resolute Support Mission here in Kabul on Sunday evening for his military services in the country, a presidential press office statement.
Presidential decree was read-out by president’s advisor Assadullah Ghazanfar during a ceremony held on this occasion at the presidential palace and also attended by RS commander Gen. Scott Miller, the statement added. The president praised Lieutenant General Salvatore Camporeale’s services in RS mission as well as training of the Afghan forces.
Meanwhile the outgoing RS deputy commander thanked President’s attention towards Afghan forces’ capacities and reforms, the statement added.
