National Security Adviser, Indian Ambassador Discuss Bilateral Ties

Kabul (BNA) National Security Advisor (NSA), Mohammad Hanif Atmar held courtesy meeting with newly appointed Indian ambassador to Kabul here the other day, a press statement said.
According to NSA press office, in the meeting the two sides discussed historical ties between the two countries and called important durable peace in the region.
Hinting on activities of the previous Indian Ambassador, Amar Sinha, the security advisor said that Sinha has taken important steps in improving ties between the two countries, wishing the new ambassador to further bolster the two countrie’s relations.
The security advisor also thanked India’s military assistance to Afghanistan.
At the end, the newly appointed Indian ambassador while expressing gratitude, pledged to work further for bolstering friendly relations between Afghanistan and India.
