Kabul (BNA) The cabinet’s laws committee with second Vice President Mohammad Sarwar Danesh on the chair approved the regulation on recruitment of government’s first rank employees through which the deputy ministers would be hired via open competitions and in accordance to the civil service and reform commission’s law.
The regulation was presented to the meeting by civil service and reform commission which after detailed discussions, the participants approved the procedure through which the first rank employees of the government, including the deputy ministers would be recruited via open competition, the press office of the VP said yesterday.
The deputy ministers were appointed politically, but the new procedures have merged their posts to civil service and would be hereby recruited via free competition, the press release added.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Transport Yama Yari briefed the session on the draft regulation for distribution of electronic driving licenses, saying it would improve traffic management in the country. The session approved the procedure, saying the current licenses should be valid till its expiry date.
