IEA Do his Every Effort for the Safety of His Citizens in Ukraine

KABUL (BNA) Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is in merging every bit of communication channel to make sure the safety of Afghan citizens in Ukraine.

At the current state 500 Afghan citizens living in Ukraine, including asylum seekers and students.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today expressing concerns for the lives of Afghan citizens in Ukraine and is using all resources to ensure their security or evacuating them to a safe place.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, spokesman of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic, wrote on his Twitter page Saturday “We are concerned about the security of Afghans citizens and students in Ukraine.”

“We utilizing all available facilities and communication channels to safeguard its citizens and evacuate them to a safety” adding He.

Balkhi said that the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in close contact with some regional governments and international organizations in this regard.

The invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces has stepped its fourth day and this has caused thousands of Ukrainian citizens, including residents of the capital Kiev, to flee their country.
