International Conference On Islamic Cooperation Condemns Suicide Attacks In Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) The third conference on Islamic cooperation for future of Afghanistan which held in Istanbul of Turkey by issuing a resolution described suicide attack as Haram or forbidden in Islam and strongly condemned it.
In the conference attended by religious scholars from Islamic countries including Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Pakistan the speakers had denounced the suicide bombings.
Speaking at the conference, Mubariz Rashidi the deputy to ministry for information and culture said that reason for conflict in Afghanistan is foreign interference.
He also noted that the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as part of its peace efforts would continue its work to organize the conference of religious scholars from the neighboring states on suicide attacks which goes against Islamic teaching, saying it is the responsibility of Ulema or religious scholars to play their due role in ending the war in Afghanistan.
The participants of the two day conference by issuing a resolution condemned the suicide attacks and violence in Afghanistan and supported the government initiated peace efforts there.
