Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai the president of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in a press conference explaining the results of his recent visit to US ended to the concerns rose in mass media and political circles of the country.
Virtually, the negotiations between president Karzai and Mr. Obama the president of US on relevant issues to Afghanistan and the region were of great importance, therefore, the details of the visit were associated with both concerns and hope in Afghanistan and widely reflected among political circles and on media.
Hamid Karzai the president of Islamic republic of Afghanistan, in the press conference explaining the results of his visit in economic, political and social fields ended to the concerns, frequently raised by political circles and media.
The political analyst of BNA writes on that regard:  the visit of president Karzai and the agenda of his talks with the authorities of the host country mainly focused on expansion of economic, political and military ties between the two countries. During negotiations the two sides discussed on a wide range of issues among them, presence of US military forces in Afghanistan after 2014, process of peace negotiations with oppositions, opening an office for Taliban in Qatar, equipping and training of Afghan security forces, expansion and promotion of economic ties, inking a security agreement and handing over security responsibilities to security forces. The outcome of talks on above issues is appreciable for Afghan people.
The United States of America agreed to transfer 800,000 to one billion$ of its aids to the national budget of our country by March 2013. The funds would be used on power supply networks, mines and agriculture sectors.
Also, US agreed to spend its aids based on priorities of Afghan   state for building the economic infrastructure of the country and pledged to assist for competing the work on Kajaki dam project.
Based on Afghan government proposal the American side expressed its readiness to assist in reconstruction of economic infrastructure, Salang highway, the highways of central regions, extending a rail- road between Jalalabad and Torkham, building power dams on Kokcha and Kuner rivers, extraction of Shubeghan gas, expansion and improving of agriculture sector and establishing branches of US universities in some provinces of Afghanistan.
In military section:
The two countries agreed the number of Afghan military personnel to be reached to 350,000 by 2017 and the American side committed to train, equip and fund those forces until that year.
The two sides have agreed the American side to deliver four C – 130 planes and 20 M -17 helicopters to Afghan air force.
In addition of the above issues, the political and military independence of Afghanistan was also at the focus of the talks, because at end the security of Afghanistan is ensured by its own security forces with high level professional leadership, because the Afghan leadership deeply understands that any long term dependency can harm the sovereignty of the country.  
For this reason, Hamid Karzai the president of Islamic of Afghanistan persistently emphasizes on involvement of Afghans in all aspects of life in order to rid the country from any dependencies against our national interests. 
What the president described in the press conference made it clear that the visit to America was full of achievement for Afghan people.
