Kabul (BNA) Good and friendly relation between Afghanistan and China has provided many opportunities for economic growth and Regional Corporation that should use for the interest of the peoples of the region.
BNA financial and political analyst commenting on the issue writes; Dr. Abdullah Abdullah the executive chief of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in an official visit went to China that led to signing several agreements and memorandum of understandings between the two countries.
During the visit, the Chinese side committed to provide market for Afghan saffron and to spend five hundred million Yens in technical section in Afghanistan. Using the Silk Road, finding facilities for building low price residential housed for government officials and helping Afghanistan in emergency states are among the documents recorded in agreements and memorandums of understandings have signed by Dr. Abdullah, Chinese prime minister and other Chinese authorities.
The last visit of Dr. Abdullah to China and signing several agreements with the authorities of that country indicate that Beijing and Kabul are committed to growth their relations. The existence of good relations between Afghanistan and Chinese has created immense opportunities for economic growth and cooperation in the region that should be used properly.
Afghanistan and a number of its neighbors have based their relations on cooperation, coordination, and establishing opportunities for regional stability. They consider the above-mentioned matters as a major principle in their relations and fortunately, China is one of those neighbors. China has persistently tried to remain beside Afghan people in any conditions. Economic growth of the region is a principle in China’s foreign relations that without any doubt affect the counties of the region among them Afghanistan. Beside that China enjoys of having the highest economy at world level, it spares no any efforts for regional cooperation and supports the major regional economic projects such as TUTAP, CASA 1000, Silk Road, and extending rail road in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, China has emerged as major foreign investor in Afghanistan. Although, the important projects of Ainak copper and oil extraction have not completed yet, in-spite of that China interested in investment in Afghanistan and committed to starting of the projects.
The insist of Kabul, Beijing and well intention countries of the region on regional cooperation, coordination and economic growth and practical moved in that end but some problems can ban to reach this high humane goals. Today, terrorism and extremism under various names have faced the region in to severe problems. If the Chinese economic projects have not completed in Afghanistan insecurity is the main reason of it. This clearly demonstrates that terrorism is the enemy of economic growth of the region and practically bars the developmental projects of countries such as China that leads the world economy and India rapidly developing country. Settling this acute problem is only and only on eradication of terrorism and extremism that not only threat Afghanistan but all the countries of the region including China, India, and even Russia. Therefore it is necessary the countries of the region especially the three mentioned countries that lead the world big economies, in regional gathering discuss and find out the ways of ending terrorism and extremism and to provide the opportunities for economic growth of the region.
