Kabul (BNA) Holding in an official ceremony, the ECO Park put into exploitation in ECO Bostan in Tehran.
According to BNA report, in the ceremony Dr. Zareef the foreign minister of Islamic Republic of Iran pointing to the common culture and civilization of ECO member countries said for serious and extensive cooperation among ECO member countries which are the most important countries of the region, important institutes and organizations should be established in order the culture of cooperation to be formed among the members and citizens.
He also thanked Tehran mayor, ECO secretariat, ECO cultural institute and foreign ministry’s staffs for providing the ground for exploitation of this common symbol of ECO member countries.
Dr. Mohammad Baqir Qlibaf Tehran mayor emphasizing on special importance of Tehran municipality in promoting cultural cooperation among ECO member countries said Tehran municipality seriously desires with support and partnership of states and local authorities of the region prepare a long term program for preserving and safeguarding the cultural valuable heritage of the region and implemented it.
Eftekhar Hosain Arif the head of ECO cultural institute also expressing satisfaction for determining a big garden to ECO said ECO Bustan is not only a recreation place but it is an effective means for urban diplomacy and cultural diplomacy activities of ECO organization.
At the end of the ceremony, the co-memorial signboard unveiled.
At the ceremony, the foreign ministers of ECO member countries, some ambassadors attended.
