President Ghani Meets UAE Based Afghan Traders

Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, during his stay in the United Arab Emirate (UAE) met the Afghan traders, congratulating him the holy month of Ramadan, the presidential press office said the other day.
The president, after the Afghan traders discussed their problems and suggestions, assured them of providing them with full investment venue inside and outside the country, and removing all challenges, including insecurity, the statement said adding the president asked them for providing their suggestions to be talked on, in the high economic council. The president asked them of providing their specific plans in coordination and partnership with the government for better investment in different fields, including activation of Sheikh Zahid and Janah Hospitals in Kabul, the statement added.
According to the statement, the president noted that the government had allocated some 3 million Afghanis to be spent in construction of six Masjids during the holy month of Ramadan and that the Swiss country has pledged to provide cooperation with the removal of garbage from across the capital and its vicinities. He asked the traders, if they were prepared for cooperation in this field, should provide their suggestions to the High Economic Council (HEC).
In his meeting with the Afghan influential figures based in the UAE, the president, according to another report, lauded the Afghan embassy for preventing misuse of the Afghan passports, with the Afghan elders thanking the government’s efforts under Mohammad Ashraf Ghani leadership for help to tackle some 80 percent of the Afghans problems in the UAE.
The president also instructed the UAE based Afghan embassy’s officials for providing the Afghans living there with constructed schools in coordination with the ministry of education send the report to the presidential office, the agency said adding the president, then left for Sheikh Zahid congregational Masjid for Juma prayer.
