Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan is a common house of all Afghans. Based on this fact the state should end the concerns of minorities.
BNA political commentator writes in this regard, recently there are reports that Sikhs and Hindus are leaving there birth place Afghanistan due to social discrimination and second grade citizenship in Afghanistan community.
One of the achievements in new Afghanistan in the process of reconstruction was that after years of crises and disputes, the constitution announces the country as the common home all Afghans.
The politicians of the country repeatedly announced and documented that the extensive presence of anti and pro-government people with different opinions and ideas representing different ethnic groups constitute the Afghan nation and Afghanistan is their common home.
The constitution guarantees the rights and life of religions and ethnic minorities.
In the 22nd article of the constitution has clearly mentioned that any kind of discriminations privileges among Afghan citizens are prohibited. Afghan citizen man and woman are equal before the law and exercises equal rights and obligations.
Since the religious and ethnic minorities groups are inseparable part of Afghan nation and based on constitution enjoy equal rights and obligation. Therefore, there is no place for concern.
Also, the second article of the constitution stated that the followers of other religion are free in performing their ritual and religious ceremonies according to the law.
Also, based on the constitution all people living in Afghanistan and have Afghan identity cards are called Afghans. Based on this fact the Hindus and Sikhs who live in Afghanistan and enjoy of having Afghan identity card are Afghans.
So, if they have any problem due to their religious and ethnicity it is the responsibility and obligation of the state according to constitution to settle their problems and to end their concerns.
