CM’s Economic Committee Holds Session

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, council of ministers economic committee held session at the Sapidar Palace on Monday, CE office said in a statement.
At the outset, minister of economy Mostafa Mastour briefed the session about the system on poverty eradication, adding the new system is better than the last one and can help the government in different fields, the statement added.
CE Abdullah said the system was confirmable, but considering ongoing situation of Afghanistan, it should be thoroughly assessed, the statement went on to say.
Execution of the system would help the government consider sustainable development, he added.
He instructed the relevant organizations to provide a report about poverty, insecurity and other related issues and present it to his office.
According to agenda, the meeting discussed sustainable development and final packages. Deputy Minister of economy said the package was sent to other ministries to have their views in this regard.
CE principally approved the specifications.
CE asked that sustainable development should be taken serious and the ministries should share their views and suggestions in the respect with the economy ministry by today, then it would be changeable.
The problems of Gul-e-Mursal Factory were also discussed in the meeting.
CE instructed all administrations to collect their trash papers and send them to the factory, and asked the security officials to solve the factory’s security issue.
The minister of economy also briefed the session about terminated economic infrastructural projects. CE tasked the ministries not to violate in implementation of the projects and complete them on their due time.
