Czech Republic Ready To Train Afghan Pilots, Restore Helicopters, President Zeman

WARSAW (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with Czech President Miloš Zeman on the sideline of NATO summit in Warsaw of Poland here yesterday, a presidential statement said.
The Czech president assured of his country’s civil-military supports to Afghanistan till 2020, adding that his country is ready to sign contract on training of 100 Afghan pilots and restoration of the helicopters.
Praising Czech Republic’s assistance to Afghanistan, President Ghani thanked President Zeman’s extending of cooperation with Afghanistan, asking the Czech Republic to provide technical assistance in building water dams to Afghanistan.
The president also noted that establishment of helicopters’ restoration centers inside Afghanistan is quite important for the country, asking Czech Republic to share such draft plans with Afghanistan.
