Kabul (BNA) Ahmad Zia Massoud, President’s Special Representative on Reforms and Good Governance met yesterday with French newly appointed ambassador to Kabul, François Resher, his office said in a statement. In the meeting, Zia Massoud said that France has always been the partner and friend of the Afghan government and people, the statement further said. On France cooperation with Afghanistan, Mr. Resher said, ‘we will work on Afghanistan-France cooperation agreement in the future, so our cooperation to be effective to people and government of Afghanistan.’ Expressing gratitude to France people and government cooperation, Massoud said, ‘the Afghan people wouldn’t forget France’s humanitarian cooperation during the Jihad period and we expect the country to continue cooperation with Afghanistan in different fields, particularly in improving health services, education and governance sectors.’
