NSA Atmar In S. Arabia To Meet Crown Prince

Kabul (BNA) National Security Advisor (NSA) Mohammad Hanif Atmar on Sunday left Kabul for Saudi Arabia at ‘a special invitation’ from Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, the office of the National Security Advisor said.
Qader Shah, spokesman for the National Security Council (NSC), said Atmar flew to Riyadh for an official visit after he had been invited by the Crown Prince.He said the Afghan peace process, security and economic development were expected to be discussed between the two sides.
NSA Atmar would meet the Saudi crown prince and other high-level officials during the visit, Qader Shah added.
Earlier, Dawat-i-Islami party leader Abdul RabRassoul Sayyaf also visited Saudi Arabia and discussed counterterrorism efforts with some Saudi officials
