Kabul (BNA) The second vice president Sarwar Danesh said yesterday that the national unity government (NUG) is committed to act upon its promises given to the people of Afghanistan.
He made the remarks in meeting with a delegation of elders and notables from Jalriz, Behsoud and Daimirdad districts of Maidan Wardak province in his office during which the elders apprized the vice president about problems in their districts. Counting their problems the elders demanded the government to solve the problems of nomads with locals, providing social services, launching development projects, ensuring people share in the government departments on the basis of justice, providing security on the roads and highways and ensuring security on Kabul-Bamyan highway. The vice president said that the government would soon solve the problems of locals with nomads in Behsoud district and the problem won’t be repeated in future, assuring the government of national unity is committed to ensure social justice in Afghanistan.
