Qalat (BNA) The convoy carrying the head of Zabul Provincial Council was the target of a suicide attack minutes ago.
The suicide bomber reportedly detonated a bomb planted in his body in front of a convoy carrying Atajan Haq, a spokesman for the Zabul Provincial Council.
Gol- Islam Siala, spokesman for the governor of Zabul, in contact with BNA confirmed the suicide attack, but did not comment on possible casualties or the fate of the provincial council chairman.
However, security sources told the media that three people were injured in the incident.
This is the fourth time in the last few years that terrorist attack has been carried out on the head of Zabul Provincial Council.
