Kabul (BNA) The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan strongly condemns the missile launched by the Houthis of Yemen aiming to attack the holy city of Makkah, a MoFA press release said.
This act of Houthis against the holy city in which the world’s Muslims’ Qiblah is located, carries deep concern and anguish for Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the MoFA added.
The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan believes that continuation of any such acts will increase tensions in the region and the Islamic world, and poses serious challenges to the efforts of the international community for a sustainable peace in Yemen, the MoFA concluded.
