Kabul (BNA) Marshal Mohammad Qasem Fahim First Vice-President met with Musafar Abdul Rehman Al-Ghasib new ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Kabul.
At the meeting Marshal Fahim called ties between Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia special relations, based on religious beliefs.
He added that we are sure that HE. King of Saudi Arabia will assist Afghanistan in restoration of peace in this country.
The Saudi ambassador also expressed hope that Afghans ensure stability in their country stressing that Saudi Arabia attaché utmost importance to tranquility and prosperity of Afghan brave people.
He also asked the government of Afghanistan to remove the obstacles for starting the work on a great religious center in Kabul so that the project to be implemented.
