Kabul (BNA) US ambassador to Kabul James Canningham called on chief executive officer Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in his office the other day. BNA reported.
In the meeting matters relating to the achievements of the national unity government and its priorities were discussed. During the talks, the US ambassador assured his government’s support for the solution of financial problems of the country and budget deficit and also said that Washington would continue to support the national unity government and its priorities. According to another report, the Czech ambassador to Afghanistan called on chief executive officer Dr. Abdullah and congratulated him over assuming office. The Czech ambassador besides pledging his country’s support to the national unity government said Czech wants to enhance trade relations with Afghanistan.
