FM Meets His Tajik Counterpart In Dushanbe

Kabul (BNA) Acting foreign affairs minister Salahuddin Rabbani met yesterday with his Tajik counterpart Serajuddin Uslof in Dushanbe.
In the meeting, Tajik foreign affairs minister thanked Rabbani for participation in 23rd ECO summit held in Dushanbe, capital city of Tajikistan.
The Tajik foreign minister said that ECO has big goals for enhancement of cooperation level in the region, adding that the organization has big capacity for building trust and regional consensus.
Considering the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) as key for creating a new regional platform, Rabbani said Afghanistan was asking to have good relations with all countries in the world and region.
In the meeting, the Tajik foreign affairs minister by considering stability in Afghanistan as stability in the region asked for further expansion of relations between the two countries. Meanwhile, acting minister of foreign affairs asked the Tajik government to reopen its consulate office in Kunduz.
