Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, met with a number of Jihadi leaders, political and national figures, following a series of consultative meetings of the president, BNA reported the other day.
According to the agency, in the meeting, strengthening relations with the neighboring counties, under the country’s national interests, securing regional stability and security in Afghanistan and the regional countries, had been discussed. The president, after hearing the comprehensive visions of the participants, asked for continuation of such meetings as he called them very effective in strengthening relations with the neighboring countries, said the agency. Second vice-president, Sarwar Danesh, CE, Dr. Abdullah, former president, Hamid Karzai, HPC chairman, Pir Sayed Ahmad Gailani, Prof. Abdul Rab Rassoul Sayyaf, Chief Justice, and Supreme Court Chief, Mohammad Yousuf Halim, House of People Speaker, Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, Meshrano Jirga Chairman, Fazl Hadi Muslimyar and some other jihadi and national personalities have attended the meeting, the agency quoted.
