“Those Violating Recent Decree Of President Will Be Punished:” President Advisor

Kabul (BNA) The legal advisor of the president office warned that any foundation that violates the latest decree of the president will be legally pursued.
Nasrullah Stanikzai head of the legal and judicial broad of the presidential office says that the in charges of the government organs who show inattention toward the recent decree of president Karzai issued for reforms, will be legally followed up.
He told a press conference that the government organs within this decree have been assigned to realize the contents of the decree within the given time and its non-implementation will be considered a violation of the law and a crime.
Stanikzai added that the recent decree is different from other decrees and it has its specialties and it will be realized in a given time.
The decree assigns any government organs to carry on their duties in governance, struggle against corruption, rule of law and economic self-reliance in coordinated manners.
Meanwhile, Stanikzai considered execution of this decree the duty of any Afghans which can direct the country towards rule of law.
He stressed that this decree covers all foundations and organs that are involved in corruption and this will dearly punish the violators equally and the foundations as the National Assembly, Administration Affairs, National Security Council, Attorney general Office, High Judicial Committee of the presidential Office, the Administration for Counter Corruption and the National Security Department are responsible for implementation of this decree.
It is said that President Hamid Karzai recently by articles issuing of a decree containing 164 articles issued instructions to the government foundations to carry on persistent struggle against corruption.
