Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met with a number of Kunduz elders and mujahidin the other day. In the meeting, influential figures, tribal elders and mujahidin of Kunduz briefed related the province’s security situation and said security situation in the province has improved comparing to previous months, asking national unity government for further attention to maintaining better security and lasting stability in the province. The country’s chief executive assured participants in the meeting that the government would spare no efforts towards maintaining security and stability in Kunduz. According to another report, the country’s chief executive met separately with a number of Takhar’s mujahidin and youth, elders of Kahmard district as well as with influential figures and elders of Gujar tribe and heard their problems and demands.
