CM Economic Committee Discusses Local Industries Support

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president chaired the economic committee of the council of ministers in which once again the draft policy of support to local industries was discussed. 
According to the commerce and industries minister the view points of the committee members, growth of the industries, aliment of the policy, support to the small industries, impacts of the industries on the environment and air pollution have reflected in this draft policy. 
Considering the draft policy as positive the meeting advanced a series of proposals in accord with the financial policies of the government, the time to be set for waiving of taxes, creation of loan fund for supporting the industries, and the mechanism for its implementation and attention about the shortage of labor in industries. 
The meeting advised the participants to incorporate their views which are not included in the draft and refer it in a letter to the ministry of commerce and industries to be included in it. 
The ministry of economy in a brief report informed the meeting about the status of implementation of the development projects during the current year. 
According to this report of the total development budget around 44% in agriculture and rural development, 24% in other spheres have been implemented. 
According to the ministry insecurity, non-expropriation of properties, non-implementation of commitments by the donor and lack of proper supervision on the projects and some other factors have caused slow execution of the development budget.
