Farah (BNA) The construction work of Bakhshabad Dam will be started in Farah province.
Fawad Askari spokesman of Farah governor said BNA, the cost of the dam is four million dollars, will be constructed by a Pakistani company.
He said that for ensuring the security of the dam, the interior ministry has established a police guard close to the dam.
According to him, with completing work of the dam, 26,000 agricultural lands will come under irrigation and seven megawatt power will be produced.
