Kabul (BNA) Dr. Ahmadinejad the president of Iran had conferred the medal for peace and friendship to Fatima Gilani the head of Afghan Red Crescent Society, in a ceremony held in Tehran to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Iran Red Crescent Society.
Fatima Gilani was invited there and the medal had been conferred in recognition of her service and the services provided by Afghan Red Crescent Society in the humanitarian field.
Fatima Gilani who was accompanied by Sayed Hussain Alomai Balkhi and Mohammad Qasim Hashimzai had also received the appreciation board from Dr. Faqia the head of the Red Crescent Society of Islamic Republic of Iran.
