Kabul (BNA) The first session of counter narcotics high commission was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive at the Sapidar Palace.
In the session, the country’s Chief Executive while pointing to importance of counter narcotics and coordination in Afghanistan, region and international level and role of various sectors of the country in eradication of poppy cultivation and reduction of drug-addicts praised all officials and organizations for fulfilling positive and effective duties in this regard and asked for their further efforts towards rooting out this social crisis. In the session, particular suggestions were made in connection with modifications in counter narcotics-related laws. At the end, Chief Executive instructed that the commission should provide precision short-term and long-term working programs for further executive to council of ministers.
