Kabul (BNA) Following joint mopping-up operations many Taliban militants were killed, wounded and arrested across the country.
According to ministry of defense press office report to BNA, the operations were conducted in various parts of Nangarhar, Kapisa, Ghazni, Paktika, Paktia, Kandahar, Samangan, Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar and Helmand provinces, in which 2 pistols, 8 Kalashnikovs, a rocket launcher, 13 round of different type of weapons, ammunitions and 10 round of various type of mines have been discovered and seized by Afghan security forces.
Also during the operations 6 Afghan National Army soldiers were martyred in relevant areas of the country.
