Providing Assistance To Natural Affected People Continues

Kabul (BNA) The minister for communication and information and technology Amirzai Sangin and the representatives of communication companies in meeting with the second vice president Mohammad Karim Khalili and head of counter-disaster management authority yesterday provided 6 million Afghanis to cooperate with the recently natural disaster-hit people in the country.
According to BNA, minister Sangin on behalf of others, offered condolences and expressed sympathy to deaths of hundreds of people who have lost their lives in the natural disaster.
Terming the landslide in Aab Bareek area in Argo district of Badakhshan province as shocking and prayed for the departed souls of the tragedy. Sangin also added that the employees of his ministry had allocated one day of their salaries to the natural disaster affected people, while each communication company allocates 1.2 million Afghanis totaling 6 million and 703500 Afghanis to help the affected people of natural disasters in the country.
Expressing his gratitude over the contribution, Mohammad Karim Khalili said the assistance is significant step towards solidarity with the affected citizens of the country.
