Kabul (BNA) In the near future, the new academic years to begin in cold regions, with the beginning of every academic year, the apprehensions of families for the destiny of their schoolchildren are rising.
Providing clothes, pen, notebook, and other stationeries needed for school are part of this apprehension.
Majority of families live in villages and poverty-hit regions of the cities have no capability to provide the aforesaid items needed by their schoolchildren.
A most problematic issue is this that some families are not able to send their children to the schools and the ground is not prepared for the same.
According to data released by related sources, now, hundreds thousands children are deprived of going to school. Its reason is obvious, the poverty of families.
Some children are compelling to provide means of subsistence for their families.
War, violence and prevention of them by some circles from going to schools and finally non capability of responsible organs especially the ministry of education in construction of school building and providing textbooks of students and payment of teachers’ salaries in remotest areas are the problems caused deprivation of children from education. This makes our mental and conscience inconvenient. The generation that are the builders of tomorrow Afghanistan, are now facing with such problems that even caused they can’t promote their education.
In such a state, what would be their future destiny?
In tomorrow, would this generation resort to war and take gun instead of pen? Get killed and kill others?
Or, they addict to narcotics in the future, what are the achievements they would offer to their society?
What is up to National Unity Government, especially the ministry of education? We are the witnesses of some achievements in the field of education, despite setting ablaze of schools by government opponents, killing teachers, threatening of school children by such elements in the regions that are enjoying from poor security; this causes some concerns for families who are thinking about the future of their children.
What proved practically last year, the problems are in a vast limitation along with assorted hurdles that are far from the capability of ministry of education.
Such state requires joint effort of people with government. We should all tuck of our sleeves and for meeting the requirements of our children that are the demand of our country as well to remove the hurdles prevent us reaching our humanitarian ordeals and pave the way for our children to go to school.
Addressing the government armed opponent, we can say that such transient political disputes would remove and all hurdles existed before peace and reconciliation would end soon.
We can invite religious scholars and other national dignitaries and influential figures to have the same opinion as the great prophet of Islam Hazrat-i-Mohammad (PBUH) says that learning knowledge is necessary to all Muslims including men and women.
In collaboration with government, ministry of education as well as people, we should prepare the ground for education of our children.
Because, with keeping open the door of a school, hundreds other doors that bear suffering be closed.
