Kabul (BNA) President Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai has said that the new government of national unity would prove its capacity to donor nations at the coming London Conference on Afghanistan.
He made the remarks in meeting with the British special envoy on Afghanistan and Pakistan Simon Gis here the other day. In the meeting held at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday, matters pertaining mutual interests including enhancing economic cooperation were discussed.
President Ahmadzai said that the government of Afghanistan would attend the London Conference after series of achievements to prove its ability and attract the international community’s support.
The president also added that he is hopeful to encourage British investors to invest in Afghanistan besides paving the way for Afghanistan’s products in Britain’s markets.
