Kabul (BNA) A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed yesterday between Ministry of Education and executive chief for New Kabul city development authority.
According to BNA correspondent, in a ceremony held on this occasion, Minister of Education Farooq Wardak briefed related to the agreement and said, “Based on the agreement, MoE will receive cooperation in the following sectors:
– Setting up a joint working committee for assessing strategies, guidance, designing buildings and providing other technical facilities to MoE.
– Starting cooperation in drafting and preparing strategy and setting up complex infrastructures for MoE in New Kabul city.
– Preparing norms, standards and needed codes and observing MoE related projects according to these standards.
– Cooperation and coordination with MoE related to preparing planning in connection with construction facilities.
– Cooperation with MoE related to specifying areas for construction of sport complexes in accordance to procedure of New Kabul city development authority.
– Cooperation related to designing of MoE’s relevant infrastructures both public and private.
– Making joint efforts for absorbing donations and funding the ministry’s projects.
It is worth mentioning that observing cooperation and assurance of maps of the ministry’s projects and submission of the projects to the ministry’s maintenance officials are mentioned in the agreement.
