Kabul (BNA) A consultative meeting chaired by President Hamid Karzai with the participation of Jehadi leaders, political figures and executive delegation of the High Peace Council (HPC) to discuss the issue of opening Taliban’s office in Qatar.
The participants of the meeting said that there was sharp contradiction between the acts and statements made by the United States in regard to the peace process.
They stressed that they want peace dialogues with the Taliban based on the constitution of Afghanistan not at the cost of the last 10 years gains of Afghanistan.
“The messages of continuation of war and violence we received from the Taliban recently by opening their office in Qatar are against the green signal they showed for the peace process earlier.”

The participants of the session decided that Kabul would not participate in Qatar talks with the Taliban, if war and violence continues, they stressed that recent changes showed that there were foreign hands behind opening of the Taliban office in Qatar and said that the HPC would not attend the talks unless process of talks run by the Afghans.
