President Karzai Heard Report Of Commission Over Paktia Recent Event

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai heard the report of the assigned commission about the recent bombardments of the coalition forces on the people of Gerdi Suri district of Paktia province. 
Presidential advisor Wazir Safi chairman of the commission presented the report and said that the delegation went to the area and conveyed the sympathies of the president to the bereaved families and the people of the area. 
He added that as per the reports of the security organs and the people of the area it was revealed that in the morning of 16th of the month fighting had flared up between the government and opposition troops and in the evening of the same day the coalition aircraft came and dropped three bombs on the Gerde Suri district as a result of which the whole family of Shafie were killed and 8 others were martyred. 
They said that only 8th year old girls and a 3 year old boy remained from the family. 
He added that the fighting existed there and the opposition forces were there but it is not correct that a fire had taken place from the home of the victims and that the women and children there had no ability to fire on any one. 
He stressed that the people of the district is hopeful that request the president of the country to provide them with financial support to ensure the livelihood of the two children and to rebuild their home. 
Meeting with the martyrs family members, president Karzai told them that any aid would not lesson your pains and I am instructing the related organs to provide you with land in Paktia and in Kabul and rebuild the destroyed home. 
He also instructed the related organs to provide financial assistance to the two remaining children of this incident in order to meet their livelihood and their education expenses.
