Kabul (BNA) The NATO defense ministers in their last session once again committed to implement their earlier commandments made regarding to Afghanistan.
BNA political analyst commenting on the issue writes the NATO member countries defense ministers in their two-day session in Brussels emphatically insisted that they will implement their commitments regarding to Afghanistan made in their sessions in 2010 and 2012 in Lisbon and Chicago.  In those sessions, the NATO member countries’   leaders committed that beside financially support they would train and equip Afghan security forces.
In the recent session of that organization, they have said that the program of evacuation of their remained troops from Afghanistan at the end of 2016 would take place after assessing the situation there.
The participant of the session decided that at the end of 2016, the new NATO mission under the name of long-term participation would start at early 2017, which include both civilian and military issues.
It should mention that the second day of NATO member countries defense ministers’ session allocated to Afghanistan’s issue, this indicates that still that country is at the focus of attention of NATO member countries. The Afghan people considering the grave situation of their country, foreign interventions and terrorists attacks consider only commitments not sufficient. They expect their international friends according to the situation implement their commitments in practice and prevent the foreign interventions and support Afghans in their fight against terrorism and extremism and offer their assistances to Afghan government without any precondition.
In current situation the Afghan security forces need to be equipped with modern weapons and enjoy of having a powerful air force and the capacity building of Afghan security is very important in order to fight successfully terrorism and extremism this the humanity common enemy. We hope our international allies in order to save the international community meet the requirements of Afghan security forces the only power that can defeat and root out terrorism and extremism.  T.
