Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in a message has congratulated celebrating day of the high position of mother to the people of Afghanistan and all mothers across the country and wished health and success to mothers in sound nurturing of the country’s off springs.
“The word of “mother” has a holy and high position in all religions and cultures. All nations and countries are respecting and praising mother. This position and importance is not only for basic role of mothers in sound nurturing of children but also for their participation in society with sacred sentiments and kindness and demonstrate ample examples of patience and tolerance.
In accordance to human values and religious teachings, mother has the highest position among our Muslim societies. Our religious education considers paradise under the feet of mothers, while the holy Quran considers happiness and satisfaction of Almighty Allah in happiness and satisfaction of parents in particular mother”, the message said.
In his message, the country’s chief executive added that mothers with their high position in cultural and religious system of the community in particular Islamic society have big and direct responsibility in sound nurturing their children.
