Kabul (BNA) Special Representative of President on Reforms and Good Governance, Ahmad Zia Massoud in a meeting with a delegation of elders and elites of Qarabagh district of Kabul here yesterday said that the government would spare no efforts to find solution for the problems of its citizens, on priority basis, BNA reported.
In the meeting, members of the delegation counting their problems above all security concerns and armed robberies, also brought into notice the land problems in Barikab and the case of the murder of a teacher by the security forces, calling upon the government to pursue the case. Expressing sympathy with the family of the late teacher, Massoud promised to cooperate with the family of the victim, besides promising to find solution for the problems of people. According to another report, a Hezb-e-Islami delegation composed of Karim Amin and Atiqullah Sapi called on Ahmad Zia Massoud here yesterday and exchanged views on peace, security and supporting bilateral talks for peace in the country. Stressing for returning lasting peace in the country, Massoud noted that no development and prosperity would take place in the absence of peace and stability, saying concerned parties should avail opportunities to help stabilize peace and development in Afghanistan.
