Kabul (BNA) A number of elders and influential of Sangeen district of Helmand province in a meeting with president Karzai shared their environmental problems with him.
The meeting was held at the presidential palace yesterday during which Mohammad Wali Alizai Helmand representative at the lower house of parliament, Haji Mohammad Daoud Khan chairman of social council of Sangeen district and Sayed Wali Samie an elder spoke on behalf of others reflecting their local problems. In addition to their local problems they touched on the security in the district and emphasized on coordination among the security forces, improving of road building projects and electricity supply networks. They also asked for aid to the families of martyrs and the displaced families in the district. President Hamid Karzai instructed the relevant organs for addressing the problems and demands of the people of Sangeen district.
