Kandahar (BNA) The new primary school named Shahid Ataullah Mukhils which was built in Daman district of Kandahar province inaugurated the other day.
Speaking on the occasion, Shir Aqa Safi the director of education department said the school constructed with the financial support of Kandahar-based PRT and the World Bank, has the capacity to accommodate 400 students at one time.
More than 4000 students including boys and girls are studying in 19 schools of Daman district.
According to another report Heavy rain falls and floods had damaged 50 houses and some 100 hectares farmlands in Panjshir province on Friday. The flood hit Khinj, and Parian districts that caused no loss of life.
