Kabul (BNA) Acting Minister of Information and Culture Hasina Safi in a meeting yesterday with governor of Maidan Wardak assured of the ministry’s attention to cultural sections of the provinces.
In the meeting attended also by a number of lawmakers, members of provincial council, elders and dignitaries of the province, governor of Maidan Wardak Abdul Yamin Muzafarudin shared a range of problems and demands of the province with acting minister of information and culture.
He asked for establishment of public libraries in Sayedabad, Jalriz and Behsud-e-Awal district, a cultural center as well as a museum in the province.
He also asked the ministry for attention to historic and cultural heritages of the province.
Acting minister of information and culture considered attention to the country’s historic heritages and culture possessions as main tasks of the ministry, saying that attention to national identity of the country was in working priority of the ministry of information and culture.
Hasina Safi promised that a public library would be created in the province in coming year, assuring of the ministry’s attention to cultural heritages of Maidan Wardak.
