Kabul (BNA) During a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Information and Culture on Cultural Affairs, the UNESCO Director General experts handed over some documents relating to researches about the Jam minaret, BNA said on Tuesday.
The documents introduce the researches made in 2007 to 2017 by the UNESCO expert’s team, and the deputy ministry would use the past results to practically start the consolidation of the historical minaret, according to the agency.
The UNESCO Director General reassured of the organization’s cooperation with the Ministry of Information and Culture to consolidate the Jam minaret and restore and protect all other ancient monuments of the country, the agency quoted.
