Pakistan Closed its Consulate in Mazar-e-Shari City

MAZAR-E-SHARIF CITY (BNA) Due to insecurity Pakistan closed its consulate in Mazar-e-Sharif city the provincial capital of northern Balkh province yesterday.
According to BNA local correspondent report, Sarfaraz Khan Pakistan consul in Mazar-e-Sharif told, Pakistan closed its consulate in Afghanistan’s Mazar-e-Sharif after a women tried to take a hand grenade inside the consulate.
The consulate will remain closed for visa services till the provision of foolproof security by the authorities to prevent any untoward incident from happening in the future.
Also Munir Ahmad Farhad spokesman of Balkh governor confirmed the incident said, efforts ongoing to reopen the consulate.
