Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai met the heads of the commissions of the lower house yesterday.
The meeting was held in Presidential Palace, was also attended by House speaker Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, and discussed the current situation in the country, upcoming elections and relations between government and National Assembly.
The president also called on the heads of commissions to endorse the elections law and the authorities of the independent election commission as soon as possible. In his address, Ibrahimi the speaker and the heads of commission said that House of People cooperates with government in accordance with its principles.
It was also decided that the heads of commissions and administrative delegation of the House of People to meet the president once a month.
