Deputy For MoCIT Introduced

Kabul (BNA) Emal Marjan was introduced as deputy of information technology for Ministry of Telecommunication to the ministry’s employees yesterday, BNA reported.
In a ceremony which was held on this occasion at the ministry, deputy ministers for finance and telecommunication and a number of parliamentarians participated.
At the ceremony, Minister of Telecommunication Eng. Amirzai Sangin spoke related to importance of IT said the sector had caused remarkable developments in the world particularly in Afghanistan.
“Emal Marjan, who was one of the ministry’s committed, hardworking and honest employees, has worked a lot in this sector. Therefore, he was appointed as deputy minister of telecommunication for IT based on our request and approval of presidential palace”, Eng. Sangin said.
He added directorate of IT had approved good governance as the government received more than 30% income through the sector and the ministry was trying to further extend the technology.
In the ceremony, Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs Mohammad Akram Khepalwak also spoke.
Emal Marjan pledged for further efforts in this regard.
