Kabul (BNA) Mawlavi Abdul Zahir Khadem, Mayor of Farah, met with UN representatives in the province.
During the meeting, the Mayor of Farah welcomed the representatives of the United Nations and called for more assistance from the international community through that organization.
Abdullah also spoke on behalf of the UNDP office, promising any cooperation to the Farah mayor.
Mawlavi Abdul Zahir Khadem, Mayor of Farah, assured the representatives of the UN humanitarian organizations of complete security in all sectors, and problems such as cleaning canals, building men’s and women’s toilets in urban areas, paving 40 kilometers of inner city roads, creating amusement parks and some amusement projects.
He also reminded the UN envoys and called for the cooperation of UN aid organizations in the province.
According to another report, Mawlavi Idris, Farah’s police chief, during a visit to the province central prison, heard about the prisoners’ problems and promised to solve them.
